Detroit The city of industry, metal, smoke and gray. Also known as one of the places where techno was born. A style of music closely linked to industry, mechanical, to the deafening noise of the machine. We are in the mid-80s, when the first expressions of this musical style began to emerge. Very influenced by the industrial life of the city, young people of Detroit, like many others, expressed their experiences through music. Much of them sons of factory workers. When we talk about Techno, we talk about sequences, metallic sounds, rhythms made line by line, hypnotic melodies, and hypnotic frequencies. Techno is one of the purest expressions of revolt against routine, an industrialized city, the repetitive work and modern slavery. It is the result, that even in the underground, even in crisis, the human being is able to transform the sound of a machine in melody, in joy, in Techno.
