This is an abstract from an article I wrote as a serie of tips about Freiburg in Germany. "[...]Freiburg won prizes for being one of the greatest green city in the world. You will feel it while you go around. Almost everybody owns its bike and I can only highly recommend anyone to get one! The city has been thought out for bikers and commuters. There are bike paths everywhere, and car-drivers are bike friendly. "Nature entertainments" are quite popular; hiking and nordic walk are almost the national sport and you will find mountain bikes paths all over the mountains around the city. There are also lakes all over the place where you can swim during summer. Don't be surprised, a lot of local folks enjoy swimming naked. [...]"
