I currently work for the transcription company, Global Lingo, on a freelance basis, and I have previously worked for Dr Crockett of Dewsbury Hospital. I have a wide range of experience in transcription, research, writing and data entry tasks, and I am used to working in restricted turnaround times (often 24 hours or less). I hold a first class honours BA and an MA in English Literature from Cardiff University. I have worked closely with experienced writers, including authors Richard Gwyn and Shelagh Weeks, on how to write effectively. I also completed research projects, a 20,000 word dissertation, analysis, and various pieces of translation. I am now doing a BSc in Natural Sciences, with a focus on biology. I have a working knowledge of the field, suitable for writing popular science articles or researching studies, etc.
