Writing for Children
I particularly like the challenge of writing stories for children. They are very demanding but have a limited vocabulary - particularly if they want to read it on their own. This is the first page of a story with illustrations for my son. The cat is my cat, Briar. The language was chosen to allow him to read independently with a small element of challenge with phonetically understandable multi-syllabic words.
