I am a freelance 3d visualization artist in Mumbai, India. I mainly work in architectural visualisation because that is more happening than the other parts of 3D viz. like product packaging and industrial visualization. A persistent endeavor of achieving photo-realism as close as possible is every visualizer's first and topmost goal. Well, I am some what around the halfway mark :) I guess (after more than eighteen years)! Because when you see what many pro's achieve in their work you are more humbled than bloat about the great output today's fantastic software allows you. Anyway, enough for the start.
