Design Specs: We need a book cover designed for a debut author. The book genre is new adult, humor, and mystery. The cover should be illustrated.

Book title: The Proposal Planner

All ideas should be lighthearted and have some fun and lively undertone to them.

Main things to hit on in the cover is:

Blonde girl (young professional but loves to have fun)
A dog (a Corgi type)
Some type of danger or mystery (in the book a stalker/killer is after the main character)
Engagements
Would like a Tiffany blue background for the cover

One idea that we did have for a design was having a road on the cover starting in the foreground and going back into the distance. A small convertible car on the road in foreground driving away from you. Inside the car, a buxom blonde and a small corgi dog. At the end of the road instead of a sun maybe an engagement ring. Then somewhere/somehow in the road ahead is a hint of mystery or suspense (maybe in the form of a shadow across the road).

Any creative ideas are encouraged and welcomed.

Questions are welcomed and will be answered. Any ideas that you get from the blurb and would like to try are encouraged. No ideas we have are set in stone. All design images and fonts must not be copyrighted and must have permission for commercial use.

Book size is 5 in x 8 in. Should have front and back (with space for author’s picture and attached book blurb) and 1-inch spine (with author’s name and book title). I have included a Create Space template. Notice where the barcode goes on the back. I have attached samples of other covers that we like.

We would like final cover file in an editable file.
