Organization name is: P.I.E.D.A.D. but writing it PIEDAD works if that helps design
We are Muslim Women's non profit organization
Website: www.piedad.info but this will be totally changed once I get logo
Target audience is Muslim women
Must have a red rose and Muslim women's hijab. The red rose could be part of a floral design or shape of the letter, etc. Only need to ensure i get a red rose in there, no need for rose stem but if works that is fine.
PIEDAD has programs and events where we make up flyers, social media and website. Also, we are ordering marketing material like roll up banners, table covers and canopies etc., so the logo should be something that fits well when enlarged. My fear is getting something that will not look to the public when it is supersized.
The red rose is my only requirement of color theme. Whatever the other colors are to blend with it is fine to review.
The design is open to all types of styles. I will see what works.
P.I.E.D.A.D. is an acronym for "Propagación Islámica para la Educación de Devoción a Allah el Divino" . We could add the text later on a flyer when needed but if it is too wordy to keep in the logo then we do not necessarily need it as part of it.
Important tag line: Living Islam. Loving Humanity.

let the project expire time and after that you will have some days of pending, to look at all designs to anlise them, to ask your friends what they think who is the best one and after one day of pending you decide who realy have to win, and i think you will have a good feeling about choice.
And you have a second chance to get others logo, look who put his logo for sale here on this contest and if you want you can buy his logo i think (is a new option puted by freelancer)

  Wait, I checked every single one of the pages... the only ones left were the ones that were mentioned about the 9 pending submissions plus another one posted a few minutes after I closed. Those I said I would review if those graphic designers send me something after the fact. Not reopening for any others but from those gd to review. Thanks!

CH if it was your first contest, for bigining you shoud ask suport what you do and what are the "rules" in a contst, first you analize all post, you look if someone inspire from someone else, rate those you like and reject those you don't like, in this mode we "employers" know what to do, to change something to do other design to modify something if you ask us, ar if we think we are far from near project if we are rejected we stop westing time yours and ours.
you put all description to your project from begining eaven if you have an ideea of a logo, just put a photo attached to let us know what you realy want.

  Again, thanks for your efforts. It was my first time doing a contest. I kept it open for all to see each other's design. I had no control over how many submissions were going to come in at the rate it did and I had to really review the top ones in that short period giving my feedback personally when possible. I saw about 4 that stood out that I was unable to say so. My initial concern was that I would have to reject some with such a contest since I always value the work others put in, no matter what it is. I overcame that initial hesitation when I saw this was a freelancer site and the norm. I do know for the future if I need a project done to avoid having too many entries. But again, those extra entries allowed me to see others that I am going to buy. Thank you again and I apologize if you felt this way unfair in any way. Have a wonderful day!

I'm selecting now. Thanks again everyone. Most definitely referring some of the clean cut designs to my colleagues who plan islamic dawah events and programs. I am selecting one to close the contest. Outstanding work!! Hard decision but I need to give a sharp visual for marketing and also a logo that caters to a more serious audience in the Islamic education sector.
