We are a new theater company called "The Hive." We would like you to create a poster for a new play called "The Actors."

The play is a comedy about a man who misses his parents, who died many years ago, so he hires a couple of actors to play the role of his parents for a few hours a week to re-enact scenes from his childhood. Things don't go according to plan.

The name of the play should be prominent, with the name of the writer and the director equal size beneath it (for now, make up names). There may be a graphic element that you would choose to go with the text.

No photos of actors or scenes from the play, just strong graphics. (If you google "play posters" images, hopefully that will give you an idea of what we're looking for.

Please incorporate our logo somewhere on the poster, but it doesn't need to be a featured element or drive the color or look of the rest of the poster. Final art would have to be available in layers in Adobe Illustrator or another Adobe product. Please find logo attached.

NOTE: This contest description has been edited to omit discussion of subsequent posters. We can think about that another day. For now, just focus on designing us an excellent poster for "The Actors." Thanks!

All we want you to focus on for this contest is making us a strong poster for the play, "The Actors." If you've already designed the subsequent posters, then feel free to upload it, but otherwise don't worry about it. We can talk about that after we award the winner.

*We would like posters from subsequent plays in our theater to look like they came from the same theater. Perhaps differences in color, and font selection, but to look like the same general series of posters.*

  When each new poster for the other plays we'll produce comes out, we'll want people to recognize right away that it is a play from the same theater. So there would be some common design elements. So ideally you would show us two posters, one called "The Actors" and another that was another title you'd make up. However, if it helps, let's just focus on "The Actors" poster, and if we like what you've done there enough, we'll comment and ask for a rough treatment for the second poster. Does that make sense?
