An Aldrop is a traditional hardware product used in traditional/rural households in India and is usually made in brass by sand casting method.

As the consumer of this product is budget sensitive we are looking for designs that are not very heavy in weight further since the method of manufacturing is sand casting complicated designs or designs with intricate patterns cannot be used.

Find attached the images of some of our good selling designs which will give you an idea as to what we are looking for. It will also help you if you search about sand casting and its Pros and Cons.

If you wish you to make aldrop designs with intricate patterns you may still continue to do so, however you will only be eligible for the supplementary prize.

The aldrops are usually Antique Brass and Nickle Silver finished.
