I am looking for a talented graphic artist to work with me regularly and long-term in creating character-based fantasy and sci-fi art in the visionary art style for my original music and book release projects.

The designer should be able to quickly create unique sci-fi and fantasy art incorporating portraits and characters, landscapes and detailed psychedelic energy patterns in a vector format with a sharp look using deep gem and jewel colors. The art and designs will be applied to a wide range of products from digital music release covers to embroidered jackets. I am looking to unify the entire brand’s product line with single designs across multiple products, which is why vector-based scalable designs are essential.

The first project I would like you to work on is a cover for my song “Love Harmonics” which will feature the upper bodies and faces of two characters with their hands folded in prayer and facing one another – a man with light skin and brown hair with a beard dressed in black on the left and a light skinned but tan woman with blonde curly hair dressed in white on the right. They are looking at one another with a deep sense of love, so their profile faces will be large in the frame. These two characters will be set against the background of a beautiful, twilight mountain landscape where you can see all the way to the horizon and there are rivers and trees in the background. You cannot see the sun in the image, but it will be shining on their faces. There will be lines of energy radiating out from their hearts in all directions.

In the exact center of the image between these two characters will be a large, crescent moon rising on the horizon set against the backdrop of a clear, golden sky.

The art style I am looking for incorporates a unique blend of the Android Jones style of characters and portraits bended with the landscape style of Totemical and the strong lines of energy portrayed by Luke Brown.

Also, I want the artist to portray the energy of love in a visible form coming from the hearts of both characters and meeting and surrounding the moon. This would like some kind of spiral light red light. The idea is to show how shared dreams are at the heart of a romance. The image should convey a powerful sense of mutual surrender to that love and respect for one another.

The image must be a vector graphic, but renders to a bitmap well so it can be used as a digital album release cover at 3000x3000 pixels as well as printed on the front of a t-shirt, the back of a jacket and a book cover.
As such, the design format should be generally square like a CD or vinyl album cover.

I have provided some reference files from Android Jones, Totemical and Luke Brown to show the type of psychedelic, highly detailed aesthetic I am looking for. Overall, what I am seeking is closest to the Android Jones portraits but there should be landscape and more energy lines in the background.

If I am able to find a suitable artist from this contest, this project will be but the first of many projects as I have a massive catalog of over 30 unreleased songs and two unpublished books that all need designs, so there will be a need for at least 5 more designs in the coming 2 months and eventually hitting the frequency of one new design per week.

    Dear CONTEST HOLDER : you will get what you need with a "PROJECT" instead of a contest. The work quality you want is far too much work for "just in case I win" .... no one will do it, you will only get horrible AI graphics, silly logos, or photoshopped versions of your samples .... or worse, existing work altered .... I suggest you cancel this contest and ask to switch to a project. I could do your job, I am a true painter, but only as secured hire, because is too much work. Best wishes.

      I don't agree. I have consistently found fantastic artists this way and I am happy with some of the results I am getting. You're right that most of the artists are just using AI with no compositing and some are generating crappy logos, but the real prize here is the relationship with me and the consistent work, not the $150 for the first job. Sorry you don't see it that way, but that only means we don't share values and therefore wouldn't be a good fit to work together anyway.

    Hey artists! This contest is almost over and what I can say is that I am disappointed how many of you are simply generating AI images that hardly match my description. However, some of you are doing a great job! Please pay attention to the description as I will not pick a winner that clearly isn't reading or listening to what I am looking for. I realize how difficult it may be to use AI tools to create what I am looking for, but if it were easy, I would just use those same tools myself and there would be no need to hold a contest. Don't be lazy! Thanks!
