  thank you all for your great animations. All of you did a really good job, but in the end we can only choose one winner. We decided to award the contest to "johnthebunny", because of the technical drawing style which gives the animation an overwhelming look and the great rotation feature.

  What is the minimum estimated time for the preloaded animation supposed to complete? A geometry of the 3D model will be useful.

     Hello,
     
     the minimum estimated time for the preload animation is 2 s, but it can go up to 10 s. So there should be also enough details to get an amazing effect when the lightsaber is being drawn. The only thing I can provide is the following link:
