<Technology Description>
This technology improves safety by alerting the driver when he/she erroneously presses the acceleration pedal.

The vehicle may suddenly start moving when the driver erroneously presses the acceleration pedal instead of the brake pedal. A warning sign to cause the driver to press the brake pedal is displayed when the driver erroneously presses the acceleration pedal. However, when the driver erroneously presses the acceleration pedal instead of the brake pedal, he/she intends to press the brake pedal. Thus, the warning sign to instruct the driver to press the brake pedal is sometimes useless. To solve this problem, this technology is designed to firstly issue a first alert to directly instruct the driver to release the pedal that the driver is pressing when it is detected that the driver erroneously presses the acceleration pedal, and then, issue a second alert to instruct the driver to press the brake pedal when the acceleration pedal is released after the first alert.
