My areas of expertise include solid state 3D modeling of structures, 3D parts, 3D assemblies, and visualization if required. I am proficient and preparing flat patterns of products made of sheet materials (metal, plywood, plastic) for laser/plasma/abrasive cutting, preparing models for 3D printing/processing on CNC machines (STL, STEP/STP, IGES/IGS, SLDPRT, F3D). I'm also converting files to/from formats such as DWG, STEP/STP, IGES/IGS, SLDPRT and F3D. I have experience in reverse engineering from STL/OBJ to DWG/STEP/IGES/SLDPRT/F3D. I also have experience in shape optimization. My responsibilities include building 3D models, modeling loads using the FEM method and analyzing stresses and strains in products under various loads, both mechanical and thermal. The projects I work on include tool strength testing, die filling analysis, 2D to 3D drawing conversions, temperature problems for heating, heat treatment, etc. I am professionally proficient in CAD programs such as Solid Works and Compass (analogue of AutoCAD), as well as FEM products such as ANSYS, QForm, Therkast.
