The service will be integrated into an existing ROR app that is hosted on AWS EC2 and content is hosted on S3.

The described service should have two main functions:

- pullProfile(iguser)

- displayLatestPosts(iguser)

pullProfile(iguser)

Users of our platform should have the option to enter their instagram username (iguser) and pull their profile picture, description and last 30 posts (pictures in original size and description, location) to our platform. All text data should be saved in the database (tables: "users" and a new "users_igposts"), the pictures should be resized and saved as for versions (existing model for attachments) on S3. The picture download should be handled by a resque job.

displayLatestPosts(iguser)

In addition, we would like to simply display the last 30 posts of a user based on his Instagram-name without copying the images to our server.

Of course you can split up the functions into smaller ones if you see fit.
