I'm looking for someone to help me write a research report on the public relations industry's role in the debate over climate change. The report will look at how organisations on both sides of the debate (for example, those that are campaigning for greenhouse gas emission reductions and those that are denying the existence of climate change) are using public relations strategies to further their messages and influence the public.
The project involves writing a report that draws from real-world examples and insight from primary sources (for example interviews or surveys) and PR theory from secondary sources (textbooks, essays, articles).
The report must:
- be around 6,000 words, give or take 10%
- use a range of research methods (as outlined above)
- investigate, explain, critique and extend relevant public relations theory into this area.
- show strong links between theory and practice, so how PR theory can be identified in the strategies implemented.
I need someone to write the report and handle the secondary (theory) research. I will take care of the primary research and provide all the relevant results to you. You will combine those with the research findings compiled based on your reading of the secondary sources, and you will draft the report.
The deadline for completion of the report is Oct. 19.
Payment for this work will be split evenly. The first tranche will be made upon submission of the report, and the second will be made in late December after I've presented the report to stakeholders and they have analysed its content. The second payment will also be on condition that all content is 100% original. A monetary bonus of 25% of the agreed value of the work will also be paid along with the second tranche if the report is both submitted on time and is well-received by stakeholders.
