Senior Elixir / Phoenix developer needed for full-time work

We are hiring elite (top 1%), quality-focussed software engineers for a full-time position centered around Elixir, Javascript, and F# development. Experience with good software architecture, and the ability to express correct solutions without compromising the long term maintainability of the software are a requirement for this position, and will be tested during the interview.

You will work with a team of top engineers to build a multi-server network of over 200 websites, therefore outstanding code architecture is key to manageable debugging and upgrades across a network of this size.

Requirements

- Minimum 6 years programming experience

- Minimum 3 years in Elixir / Phoenix

- Minimum 5 years experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL

- Great programming and analytical skills (do not apply if you are not a top 1% developer)

- Proficient in high quality code architecture: we need modular, highly decoupled, highly composable code

- Experience writing extremely high performance / low latency web applications, and high throughput data processing systems

- Strong Linux experience

- Proficient with Git & Github

- Strong English speaking skills

- Attention to detail

- Ability to own projects end-to-end

- Minimum 100 hours on Upwork

Bonus Skills & Experience

- 2+ years F# programming experience

- Ruby / Rails programming experience

- Machine Learning, Data Science experience

- Startup experience
