I need to create the following small program in VBA for Excel 2007
The program will be assigned to a button
Name of button blackcount - read a text file named [login to view URL] (dos ascii containing greek chars) and put contents of each line in cells A1, A2, A3… etc until there are no more lines to read. The path and filename of the file to open are in two separate cells of the current worksheet B1=path and B2=filename.
Steps
- Read filename and path
- Open the file
- Read each line until no more lines to read
- Write each line to the proper cell of worksheet named blackcount one under the other (current worksheet)
- Close file
The two files attached are example files to read.
