I am looking for something to help me create a platform where music producers can create accounts and upload videos of themselves producing music so that others can learn their techniques. As part of the “courses” run by the music producers, I also want them to be able to offer samples or presets they created for purchase by other users of the site.
For the video courses, I’d like the music producers to be able to create a separate page for each video to be able to create a title and sub-text to indicate what the video is showing. I’d also like the ability for the producer’s to indicate which of their videos were for free versus premium access (users would have to pay to access).
I’d prefer that the videos not be YouTube and instead use another video format that is harder to download so that visitors need to go to the site to view them.
For communication, the site will need to have a commenting system so that other users can comment on the videos. Additionally, I want the ability for users to private message the video creators directly.
I want the site to have the ability to curate content in a way where users can search for videos that have been recently uploaded (in a feed), are popular, are of a certain music genre, use a certain software, or by tags set by me or the user.
Separately, I’d like users to be able to interact in a forum on the site where they can create threads on various music production topics and share tips and tricks.
The skills required are Graphic Design, HTML, CSS and Website Design (and others too). Along with the application, I’d like each candidate to send me other websites they’ve built that are similar to this.
Additionally, I’d like applicants to provide an estimated quote for total cost to build the website along with an estimation of how long it will take to build.
