Looking for a strong senior React/Typescript/Javascript/CSS developer to enhance our web application.
This is to improve the layout of existing web application and change some functionality (please see screenshot "[login to view URL]" ) The requirements and will be broken down into milestones. (subject to change before the project starts, may have minor changes after project starts). The application is currently responsive and it should remain responsive on mobile, tablet and desktop.
1. Separate scrollbar for left pane and right pane(see Bing Shopping screenshot) - left and right panes scroll separately - this is only for Desktop view, mobile works differently.
2. Provide a clean grid view(see Google screenshot) with default as grid view, buttons on the top right for both views as you see in most websites. User's preference should be saved in cookies or other local storage even if the user is not logged in.
3. Grid view will show the name, price and image, but specs will show only on a hover on desktop or when touched anywhere in the box for touch devices(mobile, tablet). Only the name of the product and price will have clickable link that takes to the retailer website. The popup that shows specs should be a small box of two columns of specs with its top left corner aligning with grid box. Grid columns will be less on a phone (minimum 2) than on a tablet than on a desktop, but grow as the screen size grows.
4. Replacing slider in price filter with radio buttons of price ranges: < $250, $250 - $ 700, $700 - $1000, $1000 - $1500, > $1500 and text fields to enter min and max manually with "Go" button, like you see in screenshots.
NOTES:
1. To avoid CORS issue, we will provide a dummy API server with instructions to install it in your Tomcat or similar web server in order to allow you to test your changes.
