What I have is three spreadsheets/CSV lists of product data that must be cross referenced and built into a list that can be imported into xcart.
List 1: A list of 1500 products, A SKU and all of the attributes of the product.
List 2: List of product types, manufacturers and models (Acer Acermate 350) and across in 8 columns is a list of part numbers from list 1 that are compatible (Power Supply, Battery, etc). Each of the 8 columns is a different part type that goes with the Manufacturer (Column 1) and the Model (Column 2). There might be one product type per product, or all 8 might be there. Each of these SKUs needs to be cross referenced with Sheet 1 and turned into a new product entry into Xcart. The category of each product will be dependent of the manufacturer i.e. Laptops///Acer///Acermate 350 will the category and underneath that will be the 1-8 products from the spreadsheet along with all product details (retail price, keyword rich description, .gif thumbnail information, etc.)
List 3: An SEO Keyword list that needs to be matched up as each product is created from sheet 2, and a matching SKU from Sheet 1.
Example of all of this: Sheet two says for "Acer Acermate 350" the power supplys is SKU100. I need to combine all of the information from SKU100 (See Sheet 1) along with the manufacturer and model to come up with a new product in xcart. In addition I will then need every SEO keyword (Sheet 3) that goes with SKU100 put in the description of the xcart product.
The output of all of this needs to be a list of 50000 compatible products that can be imported into the xcart schema. Bidder MUST be very familiar with xcart. If this work is done fast and to spec then more work will be on the horizon for the coder.
This work is probably best done by importing all of these tables into a database and doing joins.
