I am looking to create a set of Google Cloud Functions that manage access to a Firebase database (firestore and/or realtime firebase versions). The Cloud Function will provide a gateway for front end developers to access the data via Axios calls. That way the front end developer can make a simple Axios call and retrieve whatever JSON dataset is desired in a single call, even though the Cloud Function may eventually access more than one file to retrieve all the data.
