Copier Usage Reports

I work for CNA Health Insurance. Every Friday...we spend three hours collecting copier machine usage reports. (Toner level, # of sheets of paper used, drum usage/level/life, etc...)

I'd like to find out if any of you guys/gals think it is possible to create a program that automatically reports this information back to a single location. I guess one could use SNMP or SNMP V2 or something similar...even so I don't know how to do that. And I guess it does matter which variables (information) can be obtained.

All of the copiers are networked (have an IP address). Unfortunately, there are 3 separate brands; Ricoh, Minolta, Canon. It is is possible let's talk price and if you need more if ... please reply.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

4) Intergration into a collection database; For testing purposing the information can be collected into a EXCEL or Access database.

## Platform

I think my request is OS independent. Although, I'm not sure which OS the copy machines run on...problably a version on Unix, Linux...
