With Power Automate Desktop I have a flow scheduled on a Power BI Desktop file. The flow usually lasts about two and a half minutes. At the end I have added a wait of another two and a half minutes, and a last step that tells it to start again. With which the flow is programmed in a loop so that it repeats approximately every 5 minutes. What PA does through this flow is to update the PBI file every 5 minutes or so, which also updates a table in the same file that contains data. And using 2 PA triggers, I send the data from that table to 2 Excel files that I keep in Onedrive. In total, the flow has 24 steps, which basically consist of clicking on different PBI buttons, including the triggers, and is completed with the pauses between all those clicks. My problem is the following: The PA stream works fine, for several days, repeating itself hundreds or even thousands of times, until suddenly it fails, always the same error. Although the flow has been running for over a year, it has rarely gone more than a week without an error. The error always occurs when clicking one of the 2 triggers I have, sometimes one and sometimes the other. PA tells me it can't find the "UI element" and the flow stops. Normally, if I restart the flow manually (by clicking on "Run action by action") it works fine again, that is, the following times it runs it works without problems, without having to change anything, and continues to work for days. However, other times, when it fails, After manually resuming the flow, it may repeat several times, but only a few, and give the error again, until no matter how much I click it to run, it always returns an error in one of those two steps. Those times what I have to do is edit the step that gave the error and re-add the missing UI element. I read somewhere that this problem may be due to the fact that, for some reason that the author did not fully understand, PBI changes the value of one of the attributes of the element that is causing the error, so it cannot find it. But this doesn't explain why if I manually resume the flow without changing anything, it often works fine again. In that explanation that I read (and that I have not been able to find again) it was said that the solution is to edit the attributes of the element, and in the "Operator" column, where it says "equal to" change it to "Starts with" and in the "Value" field write only the beginning of that value. But I have not succeeded in implementing this solution, in case it is. In summary, I am looking for help to solve the problem raised.
