I want to get a simple working site to start with, then I would like this to grow and add many features in the future. I would like our company to grow with yours. As we grow we will be able to hire you to complete more and more add-ons. Please feel free to add any suggestions or comments that may help improve this process. Looking to have a simple clean design for site.
Want to be able to have control for all pages with a back end admin that will allow me to edit text and photos. Want to charge a flat fee for listing as well as a percentage of each sale. Need to be able to edit pricing from admin
Will need to be able to insert and edit META tags for public pages.
Also need some sort of data base and tracking for all sales and pricing
Home Page
At top of home page I would like the to be a link to BUY, SELL, Your Account, Help , Sign out
as well as a search bar. In header area.
Should be able to search by price, favorites ( two empty price boxes for user to enter a range of prices to narrow search )
First thing after that will be a section for users favorited items. (8 place holder pics of items) I would like to be able to control in admin the amount of times a item must be favorited by other customers to be shown on home page (at least _ favorites to appear on home page). Would like 8 items at a time to be shown on homepage. The items that are shown should rotate through all favorited selections as designated by admin selected range. Each picture should be click able and go to the users storefront page or selling page
Then a 4 pick holder under the favorites that will scroll with newly listed items
On the left side of the page I would like to have the list of categories available to shop from

Want customer to list products under categories that I select. I want to be able to edit categories from admin. Also would like to have sub categories that I can edit under each category. This will make for easier item location. Each item that is listed user can upload a picture that will go to standard pic placeholder on page. Each item should be allowed up to 4 pictures. (1 main and 3 more views) The secondary pics should show a small preview next to the main pic. When clicked on the smaller pic will appear in place of the larger main pic
There should also be a title box and a description box that user can fill out description for item. As well as the price for item. Also need to show shipping price as specified by user.
At top of page it should show the store/ user name and the ability to favorite the item. As well as the add to cart option
on right should show users stats, their favorites, amount of times they have been favorited.
Also should be able to see who favorited them, also would like a view counter for each item.
On the bottom of listing page would like there to be a section that shows shopkeepers other items.
With a counter displaying how many items the seller has for sale.
Would like a contact me button that will allow shoppers to directly contact the listing owner as well as a way for listing owner to reply to these contacts.
A link for users to report an inappropriate item (will need a place to view these in admin)
Would like a submit an offer button. Way for buyers to offer a lower price for item listed.
Will need a way for seller to respond to this

Would like people to be able to check out as a guest.
Must open account to have ability to favorite
People shopping have the ability to favorite items. Favorite items will go into a separate area for later purchases. Also need to be able to send items to a shopping cart for purchase
Checkout
want to start by using Paypal to keep simple
need a coupon code box with back end controls
Sign up page
First name, Last name, / Male, female, rather not say / Email address/ password/ choose user name/
need to be able to send conformation email to confirm sign ups.
