Editing and layout on a template for a shop selling lamps

I am currently working on a new version of [url removed, login to view] called [url removed, login to view]
In short Rifraf is a company selling lamps in Denmark and with my limited skills regarding Magento i could really use some help.
Some of the tasks include:
- creating a new tab for brands. Currently its only categores is "frontpage" "Lamps" and "Accesories"
- Styling the product page and bringing the dropdown menu and description up to the right of the screen i.e. [url removed, login to view] see how the drop-down is placed awkwardly at the bottom?
- Helping translating the "Contact" page. [url removed, login to view] Not the language but putting differents word instead of the english which is there now.
- Changing some stuff on the mobile view. The lamp categories is not available when viewing mobile
- Small layout and editing jobs
