Background Description
As a shoe wholesale merchant, allowing the customer to check the products and submit the order online is a must. In order to achieve this goal, Bosido plan to build a app for their customer to view their products and submit order directly.
Requirements overview
Generally, the Bosido App can be considered as an e-commerce mobile app. But it is for B2B wholesale business. So, there will be some difference compared to the retail e-commerce mobile app. The detailed information will be described in section “Detailed Requirement”.
Since it is an e-commerce app, it has been decided that it will use woocommerce as the backend system. The app will connect with woocommerce through the REST API. All the backend management operation will be done through the website admin panel, the app will only support frontend functions. Customers will not be allowed to login to the website.
To support the business requirement, some woocommerce plugins will be used. The relevant frontend function should be supported in the app as well. In case there is no relevant API, the API should be built as well. building additional API is part of this project.
Which woocommerce plugin will be used will be described in the section “Detailed Requirement”. As project bidder or contractor, You are obliged to recommend plugins that you think are more suitable.
There may be some functions that can't be supported by any plugin, one additional plugin may need to be built to support them. Building an additional plugin is part of this project as well.
In the section “Detailed Requirement”, we may mention some function that we believe should be supported in the additional plugin. As project bidder or contractor, You are obliged to provide your idea or solution regarding the same.
The app should have a function that send a notification to the customer who has already installed the app in his/her phone.
This notification will be initiated by the store manager from the backend admin panel. Normally the store manager will send the notification while there are some new products has arrived or some on-sale products have started.
This function should be supported in the additional plugin and the app. From the plugin, it should allow the store manager to write the notification content, and submit it to activate a notification. Then the app can notify the customer.
