WordPress theme customisations based on WPBakery visual editor and some custom CSS

Hi there,
My client has asked for some simple but urgent changes to a responsive WordPress theme.
We will need to use only the WPBakery visual editor and in-built theme customisation GUI, which can inject custom CSS.
Sadly we cannot create a child theme or alter the theme styles. We must avoid dynamic style changes in the DOM (eg. JavaScript, jQuery for layout) unless there is no other alternative.
There is about 4-5hrs of work to do. It must be started immediately and finalised within 12hrs. I will guide and Q.C. your work while we do it - we're mostly working together.
Experience with PHP and customising the WP admin GUI is a big bonus but it's not the main work.
This sounds intense but I am available to guide you and for an experienced WordPress developer it will be a trivial challenge.
