Finite Element Simulation of Pillion Child Seat for Powered

This report details the finite element simulation towards design validation of a bespoke child pillion passenger seat for Honda EX5 Dream 110cc motorcycle. ISO 13232. Specifies the minimum requirements for research into the feasibility of protective devices for the rider/passenger as well as specifications for the two wheeler motorcycle impact with either moving vehicle, stationary vehicle or road side barrier. The design solution has been abstracted with adequate finite element mesh idealisation and then simulated with appropriate loads and boundary conditions to validate whether the designed components of the motorcycle seat meets the structural integrity requirements.

I am result oriented full time mechanical engineer, I love to be involved in a dynamic action and from my work experiences – successfully delivering related projects while continuing to operate to tight deadlines - always gave me some kind of professional and personal satisfaction. I preferred to be involved in engineering projects where I could add value to a product and determine a new better cost-effective way to achieve the function required for the project at hand.
