I am a biologist graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogotá) and MSc in Biomedical Sciences from the Universidad del Valle, with experience in the areas of research in neurosciences and pharmacology, and as a professor of pharmacology and critical reading of scientific articles. I have participated in research projects of in-vitro, in-vivo and ex-vivo models of Parkinson's disease and traumatic brain injury, with the use of therapeutic agents such as nicotine analogues and phytocannabinoids. I have knowledge in laboratory techniques in biochemistry, cell cultures, biomodels, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry, histochemistry, preparation of reagents and culture media, among others. I have writing experience, and experience in the process to submit and publish scientific articles in English language, for Q1 scientific journals indexed in PubMed. Furthermore, I have also experience presenting in congresses and scientific symposiums.
