I have been working with audio most of my life, starting from cutting tapes and gluing them together, ending with the most high end audio workstations.
Most of it have been my own music but some mastering, mixing, and editing for other people works, like podcasts, songs and videos. I work on other people projects with lot more care than my own creation. I can also clean up audio from background noise, hums, crackles and some other unwanted noises if needed. So audio editing is my dominion and I feel really comfortable with soundwaves overall.
This work has a same workflow as making my own music where you need to get a good fitting flow for listener. It should not be too boring or too intense, otherwise listener can be thrown off. Because making music is almost always about playing with listener attention span and getting them to a good flow, I am capable getting this job done
