Simple C++ functions for reading and writing jpg and tif-files on a Windows 10-platform are required. The data should be stored in lightweight objects (classes) containing e.g. a pointer to the heap data, some member variables for the size (width/height), the color-depth (8 bit, 16 bit), and the channels (grey, RGB), and the functionality for allocating and deleting (in the destructor?) of the needed memory. - I need two function sets: Read-File and Save-File with the following functionality: - read of jpg-files, with one or three channels - save of jpg-files with given compression rate. - Read of tifs in 8bit and 16bit. Storing them in memory in the original bit-depth. - Save of tifs with given bit-rate of the data in memory (8 / 16 bit) and with given compression rate The libraries libtiff and libjpeg in the latest 2020-version can be used or any other free library. The read data have to be stored as simple 2d-arrays of uint8 or uint16 (or ..[3] for RGB) values. Examples of usage have to be included.
