Hello, I am working on a system to assess the driving style of drivers. Problem statement: I need get the vehicle speed data out from vehicle. Earlier it was possible through CAN interface exposed through OBDII interface but now many car manufacturers are closing that interface. So I need to know if there is any other mechanism to get speed. I need some who understands the vehicle CAN network and its interfaces. Pls note that we are NOT going to use GPS to get the speed. Let me know if you have any possible solution for the problem statement.

Hi If you are not able to get speed directly from vehicle you can use a gps module and get speed data from it and calculate

Hey, using GPS module UBLOX NEO6M, the vehicle speed can be easily calculated and displayed on LCD. If you want, I can do this work for you.
