Web Development QA and Testing

The QA Tester works within the Web Development Team and collaborates with other departments and internal stakeholders to ensure that web products look and function consistent with technical specifications prepared by the design team. The QA Tester joining our team will play the lead role in establishing and implementing best-practice manual, automated and performance testing standards and tools for our existing development team. This includes collaborating with our IT Manager to establish a test lab and testing metrics. The QA Tester will also coordinate and supervise testing for all web products created by the Web Development team. The QA Tester must be able to work on product from inception to successful delivery. Essential Duties: Devise, implement and refine best testing practices and tools for current and future web products Develop and implement automated, performance and regression testing procedures Develop a detailed testing plan (including test cases, scope, test resources and timeline) for each software product, including testing assignments for other departments according to their expertise Coordinate the distribution and tracking of those testing assignments and ensure tracking and transparency through completion Execute and ensure full execution across testing suites, including across platforms and devices: Functional, Automated, Regression and Performance Lead defect triages and test reporting efforts with full transparency, including coordinating defect fixes and retesting across teams and internal stakeholders Required Qualifications: Previous QA experience testing responsive websites Excellent communication and collaboration skills Knowledge of development processes and environments Preferred Qualifications: Automated testing experience Experience working with Drupal Experience using browser development tools for debugging Familiar or experience with usability and AB testing Mobile device testing experience
