Excel File Combining Automation

Note: All related files and folders in the attached “ISP Excel Project Files” Zip folder. Problem: Each day we run a report that generates multiple Excel files (xlxs) in a folder. The file names always follow the same convention ([login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL]…) but the number of files is not consistent day-by-day. In the Zip folder, please refer to the “01-Project Docs” folder for an example of the output files. The content layouts of each Excel file are the same. There is a single sheet inside labeled “Sheet2”. A1 and A2 is always the header and B1 and B2 is always the data. The header is always the same (Account Name and Booking Number), but the data is unique. In the “01-Project Docs” folder, please refer to the “[login to view URL]” file for an example. In order for the data to be useful, we need all the data in one file, all on the same sheet. In the Zip folder, please refer to the “02-Final” Folder and “[login to view URL]” for an example of our final result. Action: We want to combine all the files into a single file named [login to view URL] with all the data on a single sheet. The result needs to have the original header (A1 and A2) with the data listed sequentially below (A2 and B2, A3 and B3….). Result Suggestions: The more automatic the process, the better. Because these files are generated sequentially, the process should wait a brief period to ensure all the files have been completed. Ideas we think could be a solution: 1. For the solution to be triggered by the creation of a specific-named folder in a specific location (ie: on the desktop) that triggers the process to run on the folder contents. 2. For the solution to monitor an existing folder that someone can drop and drag the files into to trigger the process. 3. A runnable app with a dialogue box that allows us to select the files to combine and a button to trigger the process. Thank you!
