We have the source for two existing flash SWF programs that are used to display virtual tours for our Internet clients. These are custom applications written for us by a former programmer on FreeLancer.com.
Both SWF programs need to be updated to fix a problem that has developed since the latest version of IE and Flash Player were released. Both SWF programs are 100% controlled by the contents of an XML file that we create and then pass to the SWF application via HTML commands on a browser window - the cstom SWF apps then take over, build the virtual tour window, and runs the tour in the client's browser. There is one source for our Panorama Tour Viewer and one for our Slide Show Tour Viewer. Both are having the same problems - both need to be fixed.
When IE and Flash Player were both updated by Microsoft and Adobe, our custom SWF players no longer display the tours properly in IE - the framing of the viewer window is misaligned and some of the App's buttons and functionality fail as well. Both tour viewers look and work fine under the latest version of FireFox, but they do not display nor operate correctly in IE.
We need someone to take both source code files and tweak them to fix the problem(s) so our existing virtual tours display correctly in all the major browsers (Chrome, FireFox, IE, Safari, etc...). The tours needs to display correctly regardless of whether the client has the version 10 of Flash Player, or the previous version 9 of Flash Player. We are not looking for a rewrite, just a fix to the problem in both flash Apps.
Programmer MUST have deep understanding of actionscript (older versions of it) and Flash development.
All work performed under this project belongs to us (once paid for). When the project is completed, the updated source code must also be returned to us in case we need to make further changes to it later.
