Auction site script required -- 2

To provide an auction site script where Agents upload and maintain products. Require minimum features to get going and will develop further as and when required. Terminology There are 3 parties involved that will interact with the system: Buyer – This is a visitor/customer to the site, who wishes to buy through bidding. Agent – This is one of several Agencies that provides products for sale. System Administrator – This is a highest privileged role and will have access to the Main Admin panel. Key Requirements There are few key elements that need to be met: • Buyer and Agents require Admin panels. Add/edit products, etc. • Support multiple front-ends The code provided should be created in a way to support multiple front-ends, i.e. The same code can be installed on numerous web-servers where bidding takes place and utilise a single common database. Hence front-ends should be loosely coupled to DB. All front-ends will be deployed on the same physical server with a different domain. The same code will be used to provide multiple front-ends but connected to same DB/Middleware. This will avoid complications of multi-tenancy approach. • Real-time bid price To support up to 500 concurrent users in real-time. Please provide a detailed explanation on which technique you will use to ensure bidding updates on all clients without noticeable time lag. • Anyone joining the auction will be able to see previous bids (optional) • Please confirm which languages and frameworks (if any) are to be used to deliver the solution any why you think its a good fit.
