Help with JQuery and Microsoft Edge

I am facing issue in Microsoft Edge browser while creating xml object at client side. I am creating xml object based on browser type. If it is IE, object is created using “ActiveXObject("[login to view URL]")”, If it is chrome or firefox object is created using “[login to view URL]("<Root />");”. After this object populated with xml data, I am calling this [login to view URL] method to get final xml to post it to server. It is working fine with all browsers except edge. Edge returns “undefined” in xml object.xml. I have checked other properties of this object in Edge but no property returns final xml.
