Select areas on video frames and save area data to the cloud.

Summary: Basically we want to be able to select areas on a video’s frames and save area data along with frame number and a product data to a cloud database. The video format will be mp4. We need a desktop app that will allow the user to analyze each frame in a video and mark areas in these frames. Data of marked areas will be saved to a cloud database. The user will upload a video to the cloud and will be able scroll between frames. The application will also have a product list. The products will have the fields Title, SKUCode, Product rice and Url The User will be able to create edit products. The user will first select a product at the bottom of the screen and then to go to a frame and mark an area in the frame, by drawing a rectangle with the mouse. Once the rectangle is drawn the product selected will be associated to the area and frame number. All data will be saved to a cloud database. We would prefer to use AWS as the cloud. Below are the steps the app will take. 1-) The user will be able to create a project with a name. A specific ID will be generated for the project and data record will be created. All the data operations should be done on the cloud (AWS). 2-) The user will also be able to create products with the fields Title, SKUCode, Product Price and Url. All the data operations should be done on the cloud (AWS). 3-) After a project is created a video is uploaded and associated with the project. The upload of the video should be done to AWS Bucket. Also the frame rate and size (height and width) of the video will be recorded to the project record. 4-) Once the project has a video the user will be able to edit the project. The user will be able to open the project and video with its frames. 5-) The user will be able to move between frames. The frame rate will be calculated and frames will be extracted. Frame rate of the video will also be recorded to the project record. There will be a slider at the bottom of the screen to move between frames, similar to that of a flash editor. 6-) At the bottom of the screen there will be drop down where user will be able to select a product. 7-) The user will be able to draw a rectangle around an object (product) in the frame (select and area). In other words mark an object (product). The rectangle area will be selected using the mouse. 8-) When the user draws a rectangle (marks the object) the current selected area will be related to the selected product, and a record will be created with the following fields, - ID (ID of record) - projectID (ID of project) - productID (ID of product selected) - frameNumber (The frame number of the current frame) - timeOfPoint (The exact time of frame in the video, in seconds and milliseconds) - X1 (x1 coordinates of rectangle (area selected)) - X2 (x2 coordinates of rectangle (area selected))) - Y1 (y1 coordinates of rectangle (area selected))) - Y2 (y2 coordinates of rectangle (area selected))) This record will be saved to a cloud database on AWS. The table name will be productPlaceTime 8-) The user will be able to clear these rectangles (areas selected). The rectangles (areas selected) will also contain the Title and SKU code of product somewhere around it so the user knows which product the selected area is associated to. 9-) Later when the user opens the project he/she will be able to see all the frames with the markers (rectangles) created, and will be able to edit them. 10-) In a later stage we will have image recognition. Once an object (product) is marked in a frame, an automatic function will go and mark all the similar objects in all frames. But that is later.
