i have experience working with kubernetes and ansible. my experience includes setting up bare metal kubernetes clusters and deploying codes pushed to gitlab automatically via ansible scripts. how I'm going to approach this project: step 1: setup a kubernetes cluster (kubeadm). if you already have an AWS or GCE cluster i can work with that. step 2: write and test ansible scripts that deploy your git projects as kubernetes deployments. note that this step requires communication with your developers to come up with a template on how to create deployments from their projects. step 3: creating a web interface for the administrator to run these scripts when new code is pushed in order to create a new deployment in the cluster. (that admin can run the scripts instead of using the web panel but that requires familiarity with ansible). step 4: test the web panel with your projects and make sure that when code is pushed and the admin requests a new deployment, the scripts are able to create correct pods and other kubernetes objects for testing. IMPORTANT: i do not have access to an AWS or GCE cluster so if needed one must be provided. if you want to have a private kubernetes cluster i can do the testing on my own cluster or setup one for you. note that it is possible to create kubernetes deployments automatically when a project is pushed to git, however that depends on your git installation. if this feature is necessary please notify me prior to beginning of this project.
