I need to check what platform being used to develop current software and also I have gone through the database tables, forms in it. -Currently you have database is External backend database or Access backend itself. if it is external database then it will be SQL server database or MySQL. Ok, If you have single user or group of user who going to use this application then there will be one option for cloud based here we go for an windows based remote desktop machine from that we can use cloud based application in more efficiently, we will deploy Microsoft Access runtime and host database to SQL Server. This will work the Microsoft Access with good performance and you will get all the features of MS Access as well. End user needs to connect to Remote Desktop from PC or MAC/iOS. At any moment if we insert one record or edit one record, we can get good performance using MS Access as well, we will make a client server design. But if you need lot of data to be displayed, edited etc. through internet you need to go with Web technologies like ASp.net etc. Let me know your preference.
