Hi everyone, I need someone to help me to create some layouts for a bunch of analog guitar effects. I already have different schematics and the original pcb layouts for you as inspiration (Look at the pdf example below as an attachment). The effects usually don't have a lot of components, so it should be relatively easy to do. I have been doing it myself for some effects, but unfortunately I don't have any time The Preferred layout program for these projects is Eagle because I have Additional libraries for specific guitar effect components. If you want to work with other software like Altium etc. be my guest, but I probably won't be able to help you find the right components for the potentiometers and switches. You should create a 2 layer board with good trace widths and polygon fills for GND for example. A drill layout would be nice too. For the parts I use standard 1/4W resistors, Polyester Capacitors (Lead Spacing : 5.0mm), Electrolytic caps with max 25V. IC1 and IC2 are both in a PDIP8 package For the potentiometers I use PC Mount Alpha Potentiometers from Tayda: [login to view URL] Case that will be used are all from Tayda: 125B 1590B 1590BB 1590XX 1590DD depending on the project For me it's important to get the - Gerber files (will use with [login to view URL]) - Screenshot or picture of the main board - A small BOM - A drill guide or assembly picture for the potentiometers and switches of the effect - (Optional) A 3d design / drilling template including the pcb, case and top mounted potentiometers and switches Payment will be done per PCB board finished. The workflow will be like this: - I will provide you with the size of the pcb, the basic layout of the potentiometers and switches and with the schematic. You will start creating the layout and I will support you with answers if you have any questions I'm looking for a long term collaboration!!!! I am responding to your project for analog guitar effects PCB design. I am looking for a long time working relationship. I have 3 years experience with Eagle PCB. I am familiar with using good trace widths and polygon fills for GND. During work, would you be providing the schematic in Eagle or just a PDF printout? Are you going to have the boards assembled, or is this part of a kit? You wrote that you have libraries for specific guitar effect components. Could you immediately provide me with links to those libraries and the typical passives that you use? An existing Eagle schematic/board design with passives would allow making a library of the parts on the board. Can you provide a sample?
