The brief is to design a character for an animation project pitch. We will require full turn-arounds (i.e. front side and back plus a selection of facial expressions). The character should be appealing to the 16 to 20 year old late teens audience and therefore on-trend and current. The character is a female roving reporter, an investigative vlogger who self-shoots on her mobile phone. She is tenacious and relentless in her quest for answers. Her delivery is fast-paced, intense, and melodramatic. GPS, geo tagged maps and augmented, graphical overlays are all tools of her trade, flashing up on screen as she chases her scoop, delivering important information as dynamic diagrams and reflecting the social digital age. Should the pitch be successful more characters will be required. Delivery file format to be discussed. Delivery deadline Tuesday 4th August 9:00am UK time.
