Flash (FLV) Movie Player Project

**_Project Overview_** Custom-built flash flv movie player that will be able to play On2 VP6 encoder flash video files. It will be used for playing videos on the web and compatible in most browsers. **_Brief Project Details _** * Macromedia Flash 8 Player required. We'd like the player to be made using the latest version of flash which is 8,0,22,0. * This needs to be a fully functional player with player controls such as start/pause and seeking abilities. We will need volume controls and the ability for someone to make the video player full screen. * Semi-transparent watermark logo located at the bottom right section of the video playback window. The watermark will always be on the video playback window even if the video is stopped. * **Play list Features** **1.** Flash will accept either a .FLV format file or our own custom .FLP format which is simply a xml file that includes a number of flash videos and or SWF or IMAGE files to play through the player. The play list XML format will be supplied during the project. This will mainly be used for running advertisements through the player before or after video completion. **2.** The XML feed will have options to disable seeking or pausing of the video while the advertisement plays. **_Project Qualifications _** You must have at least 2 years experience with Flash and Action Script. Experience with graphic design is a plus but it is not required. We're looking for someone that has written a movie playing functionalities with flash in the past. We'll include an open-source flash player that can be used as a framework if needed. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Flash Enabled Platforms and Web Browsers. This flash player must be able to play on a variety and systems and browsers.
