Hi. Am doing a calculator program that uses memory stores and form re-organisation. Have done most of it but cannot figure out how to get the memory stores to work properly. I have got it to store a value but i want that value, if the user continues to click M+, to add to itself. Also because there are five stores, i want the form to get bigger or smaller depending on how many stores are active. Have been using modules to make the program more compact. I will attach the files with this. All code is documented as this is good practise.
## Deliverables
It would be great if you could assist with this small remaining section. Would like both exe and source code. Cheers The changes for form re-organisation can all be contained at the end of the event handler for the array of Exit buttons on the memory stores. was imformed that it simplifies the coding to create a new property (of Form1) called: Property Get StoreInUse(Index As Integer) As Boolean This simply accesses the static array MemArray to ascertain whether the memory store having the Index value passed is in use or not: returning True if it is, else False. It allows you to create economical and readable code, such as: If Not StoreInUse(0) And Not StoreInUse(1) Then [login to view URL] = FrHeight Was thinking the best way of doing it would be by searching MemArray starting from the end and then followed by a Select Case statement for the different values found. You can write the search of MemArray to produce a value of -1 if the only memory store has just been removed, then trap the -1 value in the Select Case statement which follows.
## Platform
Using PC with XP. Visual Basic 6. The program needs to work on PC's running Windows NT.
## Deadline information
Have a look at the project. It's fairly straight forward. Any response would be great. Cheers.
