Create VB.NET project that will operate within larger solution. Code is to "scrape" gambling odds from online sportsbooks; familiarity with sports gambling/odds is helpful.
Site examples: [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL] and more.
Prefer implementation using HttpWebRequest and text parsing (RegEx) of the html/js files rather than DOM/MSHTML/WebBrowser, but WebBrowser implementation is available if needed for the particular site.
Your code will implement a very simple interface - basically just a "Begin" function - obtain the needed pages, extract the data and put it into specified data objects which you will pass to the DAL (database) code.
These are NOT trivial pages to parse. This project _requires_ someone with experience at scraping ("web data extraction").
Successful coder should have experience with scrapers; be available via phone and/or chat to hash out any problems; and be available to begin immediately and complete these tasks _very quickly._
There are several sites which must be done; I will be looking for multiple coders and/or a coder who can do these quickly (and properly) to move on to the next one. Immediate action is required; the deadline is very close.
**Please bid to do a scraper for ONE site; if you are to do multiple sites we will set up additional private projects which pay the same bid amount for each.**
**IMPORTANT OVERVIEW OF THE DAL AND SCRAPER IMPLEMENTATION ARE ATTACHED.** Successful bidder will be given access to existing code including working scrapers to assist in the process.
See deliverables section below. Because the code must integrate with a host application which is still in final development, you may need to assist in the integration and testing (of your code), or need to wait up to ten days after delivery for "final confirmation" to allow testing of your work.
## Deliverables
1) Visual Studio 2005 PROJECT with VB.NET source code implementing the required functionality. Must integrate with the host application as per the specs you will be given.
2) Clean code and GOOD, DETAILED IN-CODE DOCUMENTATION required.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
