Pocket PC / Windows Mobile Scanning Application(repost)

Application to run on Microsoft® Windows Mobile?"? 2003 Second Edition. This application needs to be installed on a Symbol MC50. Go here for more specs: <[login to view URL]> These devices have 802.11 WiFi capability. The user would install the application by going to a web address we specify and running the executable. Once installed, the application needs to accept a valid barcode range of numbers (example: 3991234000 - 3991235000) and then proceed to store scanned numbers into a small internal database of some kind - text file is acceptable. This needs to be capable of storing up to 10,000 barcodes numbers in clear text - no encryption required. As each barcode is scanned, it is checked for validity (in range / out of range) and also checked to see if it was previously scanned (sorry - barcode already scanned). It needs to operate without a connection to internet, and be completely self sufficient. Once the scanning job is completed, the user needs to be able to choose UPLOAD barcode list, (after first connecting to the internet), to upload the database file to a central server where it will be analyzed or imported by a human. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. We have previously used this application to display a browser page, accept the scan results into a text window, and submit to a web server. THis process is too slow... hence the need for this new app.
