Hi All, We want a tool / utility / software to store our database which is being updated on daily basis , some fields are updated / added / modified. There should be users with different access rights like :- Addition , Editing , Deletion , Export Import Presently we are mentating this in excel sheet wherein we find the data field and update the required cell for that particular row matching a particular unique field value. The tool should be simple and compact. but should have an excel import / export feature . As of now we want the data to be stored on a local drive but can go for cloud if required This project is simple but would require very detailed understanding of the issue Our Infrastructure : - 1. 5-6 Pc's on LAN 2. Windows 7-10 OS 3. MS Office 2010 4. NO DOT NET TO BE USED 5. Internet Connectivity - 15 Mbps Need to get it done asap

I can help you. I am the right individual to help you with your project. This project could be developed in MS-Access (Visual Basic for Apps) with a single database, to which all users connect. This database can be synchronized in the cloud through a virtual disk (OneDrive, Dropbox, Drive, etc.) However, I can develop it in any language and the DB that you prefer. Dear Sir/Madam, I can implement this on Ms Access very promptly on receipt of the Excel file that you are using. You need do not need to have an Ms Access license if you are not planning to makeg design changes to the database that I would provide. However it would be better to have at least one license of Ms Access on one of the PCs. The rest of the PCs can have just the Ms Access runtime edition which is free. I will program the database to have a button for importing and exporting Excel files. I can also provide the same application as a web based application that would work on XAMPP platform (MYSQL, APACHE and PHP). Xampp is a free bundled software and does not have any subscription services hence you can host this application on one of the PCs on your LAN. If you provide a sample of the Excel file I can generate this software and provide you with screenshots of the software. I use a rapid development low code application for such projects.
