Hi, Thank you for your interest in our PMI (Property Management System Interface) project. We install several Asterisk/FreePBX systems at hotels and as the posting said need to create an interface to them -- the logical approach, I believe, is to utilize the Mitel interface which most all Property Management Systems have. We also use a MySQL DB to house property and guest data, and need the PMI to work with that as well. Those will be the two main functions of the PMI. Here are a couple points: • The Property Management system interface (PMI) will interact with the MITEL component of the hotel’s Property Management System • We have a Property Management System vendor to work with, and a hotel that we can use to test • There are two main components to the PMI: 1. Asterisk/FreePBX integration and 2. Interface to our MySQL DB (we call CDB) • Our (small) team will work with you/team on the requirements and through the process • We use JIRA and you will have an account on our system. If you do not use JIRA now, it is easy and will be good for you to know and add to your profile. • The code must be properly documented, commented, and stored • We’ll do milestone payments, 1. Initial requirements (5%) 2. Design (15%) 3. MVP (65%) 4. Final delivery (100%) • Likely we will work together on the follow-on projects that are road mapped I hope this clarification helps. Hello Len , Yes you are certainly right that we need to utilize the Mitel interface which most all Property Management Systems have and the most important part of site is security. To prevent SQL injections we will have to use something called prepared statements with MySQL Database and we are well familer with it. We propose to custom code the website using either CodeIgnitor or Symphony2 so the code will be commented so that it is easy for other developers to continue the work. It seems that you are currently using JIRA and So I would like to state that before start development we should check the API and make a clear conception of this API like, 1) Web service method to call API 2) Return of this call. 3) XML methods to call 4) API documentation is sufficient or not..etc I will appreciated if you arrange a meeting with you. so we can discuss the project in brief along with the timeline, price and support.
