PHP Script / Convert PNG to SVG

Hi there, I'm Matt Sergei (do call me Matt, please) and would like to help you yet you have 3 steps of this PNG to SVG conversion to define exactly: 1. PNG must be converted to separate images with color model e.g. color layer. SVG images are by default using sRGB mode yet I'm wondering if you intend to have CMYK color layers (continued issues below). So the first step is color separation to 3 (sRGB) or 4 (CYMK) images. ImageMagick can be used here (assuming call from PHP for this and all steps below). 2. Then you have vectorization part since I doubt you want just embedded ("data encoded") PNG image in the SVG file(s). ImageMagick does just that unless other software is installed or compiled into it (autotrace/potrace/trace). So this step would give 3 or 4 vectorized SVG images. ISSUE here: CMYK colors. SVG can use CMYK colors but the software needs to support this feature to properly display them. See: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] 3. And then you have saving 3 or 4 layers into one file, presuming you want to have that. This step could be done by merging 3/4 SVG files to one file, each part becoming a SVG group. Z-indexing needs to be solved here (SVG draws last elements in file on top of previously displayed). Otherwise I'm webmaster/developer for 26 years, SVG 1.1 pro here.
