Please include what Framework and Language you would use and why to accomplish this task in your Bid. We have some existing code written in PHP/CURL that scrapes 500 URL's looking for specific information. We have a 2nd Script that monitors 1,000 URL's but our PHP/cURL is to slow. I need to check all 1,000+ url's every 5 minutes using our Proxys. I need someone to review our PHP/CURL code that uses our Database and Proxys to be rewritten in Node.js or Python. 1. Review 2 PHP/cURL scripts we are currently using. 2. Replace our code with yours so it works with our database/proxys but performs better. Tell me you past experience with scraping and what your choice of code to use for scraping.

I'm a NodeJS developer. NodeJS is fast and light because as is not multithread (but It can also be if you want) it is fully async. Competenze ed esperienze rilevanti I did some scrapers to take all informations from some websites and put them into a mysql database. I know PHP, NodeJS, MySQL, HTML, CSS and Javascript. Hello assuming you are running on linux and after reviewing the existing PHP code I would use python+twisted as a separate process and spawn a number of microthreads for lets say 10-20 urls. Relevant Skills and Experience I have over 10 years commercial experience, I have done a scraping project on this site, the review you can check. I have used a number of scraping tools like scrapy as well.
